The political industrial action of the Finnish Transport Workers’ Union AKT and Erto on 1–2 February 2024 – Kaukokiito will continue transports during the industrial action

The Finnish Transport Workers’ Union AKT and the Union of Private Sector Professionals Erto will participate in the political industrial action on 1–2 February 2024. Kaukokiito will continue to transport its customers’ shipments with exceptional arrangements also during the industrial action.
The work stoppage of the road haulage sector and salaried employees in the road transport sector will start on Thursday, 1 February at 12:01 a.m. and end on 2 February 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
The work stoppage of the warehouse terminal sector will start on Thursday, 1 February at 6:00 a.m. and end on Saturday, 3 February 2024 at 6:00 a.m.
Kaukokiito will continue to transport shipments during the industrial action. Operative action will be carried out with exceptional arrangements. We will do our best to ensure that we can serve our customers in line with our customer promise and make sure that the situation is not visible to our customers and their customers. However, industrial action is always an exceptional situation that can cause delays in the delivery chain and congestion at our service centre. Thank you for your understanding!
