During the year, we have again taken new development steps to make our processes more efficient and better. Thanks to the combination of new technology solutions and the cooperation between Kaukokiito’s employees, last year’s delivery reliability was the best in our measurement history, and the same trend continues this year. The hard work we have done is also reflected in the most important thing for us: customer satisfaction. In our customer satisfaction survey conducted in May, the Net Promoter Score (NPS) was excellent +56.
The development work will continue next year. The renewed Kaukoputki online service will be launched in early 2025. The service is being developed in our own technology unit. Our decision to develop it in-house makes it possible for our development work to be strongly connected to our customers’ everyday needs. We are also clarifying our fleet strategy and continuously investing in alternative propulsions to reduce the environmental impact of logistics. In addition, our Kaukokiito BIO service supports our customers’ sustainability goals by reducing the carbon dioxide emissions of transport.
Costs in the logistics sector have increased this year, especially in terms of personnel and production. In addition, the global economic situation continues to create uncertainty about the future of domestic logistics.
In order to ensure our service capability and further development of our operations, we will increase our transport and service prices by 3.9% as of 1 November 2024.
